Stacker

Stackers, also known as manual stackers, assist you in transporting and lifting goods and pallets.
They are a type of forklift that allows your employees to work ergonomically. Stackers allow for vertical pallet movement and maneuver easily in narrow aisles. Pallet stackers come in various types and sizes, with applications ranging from truck loading to placing products on racks.

The benefits of stackers

Stackers are designed to make work lighter, safer, and more efficient. Here are the key advantages:

- Space-saving: Ideal for narrow aisles and compact storage areas
- Cost-effective: Usually cheaper to purchase and maintain than forklifts
- User-friendly: Easy to operate, some models don’t require a forklift license
- Safe operation: Reduces physical strain and increases workplace safety
- Ergonomic use: Minimizes physical effort for staff

Whether you occasionally move pallets or stack goods daily, the right stacker makes a big difference.

Types of stackers at Kruizinga

At Kruizinga, you’ll find two main types of stackers in our range:

1. Manual winch stacker
This type lifts pallets using a crank handle. Ideal for light to medium loads and offers maximum control and precision. Perfect for ergonomic tasks.

2. Manual hydraulic stacker
Operated by a manual pump action, similar to a pallet truck. Effortlessly lifts heavier loads to working height. Strong, reliable, and low-maintenance.

Both models are made from high-quality materials for long-lasting performance.

We also offer electric stackers, which eliminate the need for manual lifting or pushing. This is ergonomically sound and reduces the risk of injuries.

FAQ

What is a Stacker?

A stacker is a pallet truck with a mast, allowing goods like pallets to be stacked. This makes it possible to move and place goods at height. Stackers come in different types and sizes. You can use them for various purposes, such as loading trucks and placing or moving products in a warehouse rack.

What Should You Pay Attention to When Operating a Manual Stacker?

The stacker should only be operated by qualified personnel who have the appropriate certification. If you don’t have the certification, you are not allowed to operate the stacker.

There are also a few general safety rules for operating a stacker, such as:

Never lift the load with one fork.

Place the load against the forkboard or as close to the forkboard as possible.

The load should be placed on the forks in such a way that the center of gravity is centered along the middle of the forks.

Never exceed the load limits indicated on the load indicator plates.

Do not turn or stack on inclines.

Always wear safety clothing.

Do You Need a Certification to Operate a Stacker?

A company vehicle requires its own certification to be operated. A separate certificate is required for a stacker. A stacker is a powerful vehicle for transporting heavy loads, so it’s very important to know how to handle it safely. You might think that with a forklift certification, you can operate a stacker, but that is not the case. While you drive a forklift, you walk behind a stacker. You can only operate a stacker if you have the appropriate certification. You can obtain this certification at an ARBO center.
