GFT container

As a business, it is important to adopt responsible and sustainable waste management. One way entrepreneurs can do this is by using GFT (fruit, vegetable and garden waste) containers. Discussed below is why buying a GFT container is a smart choice for any business looking for eco-friendly waste management options.

Why should you buy a GFT container?

There are several reasons why it is a good idea to buy a GFT container for your business. Below, we tell you in a few points why you should buy a GFT container for your business:

1. Better hygiene: Separating organic waste also ensures better hygiene within the working environment. A GFT container provides separate storage for this type of waste. This reduces unpleasant odours and reduces the risk of pests.

2. Cost-saving: Separating organic waste reduces the frequency of waste collection. As a result, your company will have to pay less for waste disposal. This ensures significant cost savings in the long run.

3. Environmentally friendly: By using an organic waste container, you ensure that organic waste is separated from other waste streams. This way, this waste can be reused instead of ending up in landfill or being incinerated, contributing to the circular economy.

How can you choose the right GFT container?

There are several factors to consider when buying a GFT container for your business. Consider the following points:

Size: The size of the container should match the size of the amount of organic waste generated. Here, also consider how much space you need for storage.

Material: Choose a VGF container made of sustainable materials such as recycled plastic or steel. This adds to the environmental friendliness of the container and ensures a long life.

Lid: Make sure the container has a tight-fitting lid to prevent the spread of odour and pests.
